Dogs are welcome at Barefoot and they seem to love the beach and dunes even more than people.
The tide can go out up to half a mile giving the best running track anywhere in the country. Up to two (well behaved) dogs are allowed to stay at a cost of £35 per dog. Dogs are not allowed upstairs or in the bedrooms or on the furniture anywhere in the house as they can cause a fair bit of damage if left to their own devices.
Please note between 1 May and 30 Sept dogs are not allowed to walk in the zoned areas, which includes the area directly outside Barefoot. 100 metres along the beach to the left of the house dogs are allowed during these months. Please be aware you may be fined by the coastguard for breaking the rules. Outside of these dates dogs are allowed on the entire beach.
Please ensure you dispose of any dog mess responsibly and do not put it in the house bins. There are bins on the beach or in the car park which can be used. We reserve the right to charge £50 for any doggy bags left in the bins inside or attached to the house as it causes big problems for us with our cleaning staff to remove these. Your understanding is much appreciated.
